This week, Lisa Schmucki, founder and CEO of edWeb.net sent me the preliminary results of a "Survey of K-12 Educators on Social Networking and Content-Sharing Tools." According to the survey, co-sponsored by edWeb.net, MCH, Inc., and MMS Education, 62 percent of the nearly 1000 educators who responded belong to one or more social networking sites, and nearly all of those educators believe that social networks "could offer significant value for education." We at Education World -- and SchoolNotes -- think so too.

More on the survey later. In the meantime, we hope you're making it a point to take full advantage of Education World's resources by signing up to be a fan on Facebook and following us on Twitter. Let's get the education conversation going -- and keep it going.
Have a great week!
