Free is always good -- but free is especially good when the resources are practical and valuable and immediately available -- like most of the resources at Education World. But we aren't the only ones providing educators with exceptional -- and free -- online resources. Some other great ones we've found lately: The World Almanac's Official World Almanac Trivia Quiz Night Kit is a free downloadable team trivia game great for use with adults or students -- or both. The Lower East Side Tenement Museum has launched a new interactive game, From Ellis Island to Orchard Street, in which visitors create a virtual identity and then recreate the immigrant experience, traveling from Europe to Ellis Island, to a new life in the Lower East Side neighborhood of New York City. I can't even begin to describe the variety of materials NASA Education offers teachers. But you might want to begin with one of the agency's latest free downloadable resources -- the Space Thrills Poster and Activities.
