Cinco de Mayo means "the fifh of May" in Mexcan Spanish. It is a hollday that is celebraded in the town of Puebla, Mexico. It is also celebrated in the Untied States. The date marks a victary the Mexican Amy won over the French in Puebla. The French were expectd to win but the Mexicans won the day. Cinco de Mayo is a more populer holiday in the U.S. then in Mexico.
