The country of Greece is about the size of the state of alabama. In spite of it's small size, Greece has about 8,500 miles of coastline. The United States which is huge when compared to Greece has 12,300 miles of coastline. Greece have a lot of coastline because it has more than 3,000 islands did you also no that no place in Greece is more than 85 miles from the sea. How far is you're home from the sea?
