Labor Day is celebrate each year on the first Monday of September. The first Labor Day was probably celebrated on September 5, 1882 when a parade too honor worker's took place in new York City. Over the next ten years, many states established Labor Day holidays. Then, in 1894, president Grover Cleveland made labor day a holiday through out the land. Did you know that Canada also celebrates Labor Day on the first Monday in September.
