Materials Needed

Lesson Plan

This activity is a perfect one for use in your school or classroom computer center. Students can work on it in pairs or on their own. If you set up the activity in your classroom computer center, schedule students throughout the day so each student/pair has 30 minutes to complete the activity. In order to complete the activity, students will use information on this high-interest resource created just for them

Animal Encyclopedia
They will use that resource to complete the Animal Encyclopedia Search work sheet. They will draw a line from each animal listed on the work sheet to a fact that tells about that animal.

Work Sheet Answer Key: 1.i, 2.g, 3.h, 4.c, 5.d, 6.b, 7.j, 8.a, 9.e, 10.f.
