Use this printable technology activity to teach students odd, little-known facts about the presidents of the United States.

• Secrets of the Presidents printable page

Lesson Plan

Provide a copy of the Secrets of the Presidents printable page for each student. Challenge students to use the Secrets About the Presidents Web site (Source: PBS) to match ten presidents' names to the "secret" facts about them.

Adapting the Activity

• This activity could be set up in your classroom's computer center. Students will cycle into the computer center in a pre-planned rotation to complete this activity.
• This activity is ideally suited to use in the computer lab. Students could work on their own or with a partner. If students work in pairs, they should take turns clicking on the presidents' portraits and reading the facts that appear.
