Lesson Plan
Good character strengthens the classroom community, builds relationships between students and enhances self-esteem. Following a kickoff with this lesson, use praise and positive reinforcement to acknowledge demonstration of good character throughout the year.
Preparation
Die-cut the materials for student use prior to the lesson.
Lesson
Assessment
Assess student understanding of good character by assembling a class poster, summarizing a class code of conduct. Students can vote on their top five attributes and discuss ways to exemplify each trait.
