GETTING STARTED

Each player draws a clock with the minute hand drawn in pointing to the 12 (the position it would be in if the time was exactly 3:00, 6:00, or 12:00). Or provide students with this reproducible page of blank clock faces.

Player 1 rolls the dice and adds them together. The number on the dice becomes the time that the player must fill in on her clock.

Example
If the player rolls a 3 and a 5, the total on the dice is 8; so the player draws 8:00 on the clock.
Players take turns rolling and filling in times on their own clock. When all the times are drawn in except for 1:00, players switch to throwing one die to try to roll a 1. The first player to complete their clock is the winner.

VARIATION

The minute hand can be drawn to quarter past the hour, half past the hour, or any other time.
