Playful Pinwheels


Instructions: Cut out the pinwheel pattern below. Decorate both sides of the paper. Cut along the dotted diagonal lines from the corners almost to the black dot in the center of the page. Use a hole punch or a pencil to make holes in the circles, including the center dot. Bring the corners of the triangles with the dots to the center, and push a paper fastener through the middle of each hole and through the center dot. Put the end of the paper fastener through a hole near the top of a straw and bend the ends of the fastener back to make it secure but not too tight. Test your pinwheel by blowing from the side to make it spin!
