Benne Cakes and Other Holiday Recipes

Students create great foods from different holiday celebrations!

Objectives

Students follow recipes to prepare foods that are common to holiday celebrations in different cultures.

Materials Needed

For benne cakes recipe: oil, brown sugar, butter or margarine, one egg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, flour, baking powder, salt, sesame seeds
