Provide students with a list of such space pioneers as Robert Goddard, Kanstantin Tsiolkovsky, Hermann Oberth, Wernher Von Braun, Sergey Korolev, or one of the original astronauts. Each student should select a name and then use print and/or online resources to learn about that person's contribution to the space program.
