Bush and Gore on EducationEducation World editor Diane Weaver Dunne recently posed five questions to presidential candidates George W. Bush and Al Gore. For the next five days, we will present the candidates' candid thoughts and ideas about national standards, national testing, technology in the classroom, and school prayer. Education World posed the same five questions to Republican presidential candidate George W. Bush and to Democratic presidential candidate Al Gore. In the week ahead, we will share the candidates' thoughts about the issues below.
Note: Education World contacted the press offices of the Green Party USA, the Libertarian Party, and the Reform Party. Despite repeated requests, we have not received responses from any of those parties.
