QUESTION:
For how long must school choice and supplemental services be offered?
U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION:
Students may continue to attend a public school of choice for the duration of the time they would have attended the school in need of improvement, but the school district is no longer required to provide transportation if the student’s original school is no longer identified for improvement, corrective action, or restructuring. A student would continue to receive supplemental services as long as he or she is eligible and the school is identified as in need of improvement.
