QUESTION:

Must districts spend non-federal funds on school choice or supplemental services?

U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION:

Non-federal funds would be required only for public school choice transportation. If a school district's Title I, Part A funds are insufficient to cover all choice-related transportation costs, districts must use other federal, state, or local funds.
