Ring Around the Rosie

Share

Use this activity at Circle Time or on the playground. It is a great way to liven up the day. Have children stand in a circle and sing this familiar song.

Ring around the rosie,
A pocket full of posies,
Ashes, ashes,
We all fall down!

As everyone tumbles to the floor on "We all fall down," start tapping your feet and chanting these words:

"The sheep are in the meadow,
Eating buttercups,
A-tishoo, A-tishoo,
We all stand up!"
