Make a package of blueberry-flavored gelatin, pour it into a pan and let it set. Mix about package of crushed chocolate wafers into a container of whipped topping. Stir the mixture and spread it over the set gelatin. Serve small portions to children explaining that the blue is the icy center of a glacier (a mass of ice formed by compacted snow) and the white on top is snow with silt (fine bits of sand and clay) in it.
