SHAKE, RATTLE, AND ROLL

(Sung to the tune of Shake, Rattle, and Roll.)

Woke up this morning with a tummy ache. (Stretch arms in a waking yawn, then rub tummy.)

I didn't want to go to school. (Shake index finger back and forth.)

My mama called my grandma and she came right over. (Dial a phone.)

And she told me what to do. (Nod head knowingly.)

She said, "Shake! Rattle! and Roooooll!" (Put hands up in air and shake them; lower slightly and rattle them; roll hands around each other while bending over and standing up again.)

She said, "Shake! Rattle! and Roooooll! (Repeat above.)

She said, SHAKE! RATTLE! AND ROLL ALL TOGETHER NOW! (Repeat above but faster.)

SHAKE! RATTLE! AND ROLL ALL TOGETHER NOW! (Repeat above but faster.)

SHAKE! RATTLE! AND ROLL ALL TOGETHER NOW! (Repeat above but faster.)

SHAKE!!! ALL THE WAY TO THE SCHOOL! (Shaking everything by now.)

Yeah! (Almost in a stage whisper, bending at the waist, reaching one hand behind and the other in front like jazz bow.)
