MONTH BY MONTH
Did you know that January is National Soup Month? Winter is a perfect time for Soup Month, and a perfect opportunity to plan a special lunch for your staff. Offer several different types of soup, provide bowls or cups and soup spoons and crackers, and -- voila! -- a celebration.
National Soup Month is only one of many weeks or months designated by food manufacturers to feature and advertise food products. Wouldn't it be fun to follow the food-celebration calendar and plan a monthly Monday lunch to coincide with those food themes?
[content block] Here is a list of some of the special months that happen throughout the year. You might know of other food celebrations that are local or regional in orientation.
We found no special food days in December. You might focus this month full of multicultural holidays on foods with an international flavor.
