Books in Our In-Box!

Okay, here at Education World At Home, we get a LOT of books sent to us. Being book people, we look through them, read them, use them to correct that short table-leg.

Seriously, here are just a few books, all very different, that we noticed this summer.

This self-published book is intended to encourage teens to believe in themselves, rely on themselves, and keep promises to themselves. It's tough to publish a book of your own these days and to get the word out, so hats off to Mr. Wright!

Okay, you kids and parents! The author of Looking Beyond the Ivy League has compiled profiles of 40 colleges that may not be as well known as Harvard, Yale, Princeton, or Stanford, but that have a strong tradition of serving their students well. A good addition to your library of college-hunt resources!

(But take care of getting your SAT / ACT scores up first!)
